Thanks to the good people over at Think Progress, here's an audio of talk show host Rush Limbaugh's tirade against Georgetown Law School student Sandra Fluke. Ms. Fluke's only crime, if you can call it that, was that she was scheduled to speak about women's birth control before a Senate committee. Her appearance was cancelled but that obviously was not enough for Limbaugh.
Dude has some major issues with women (like the majority of conservative Republican men), okay forget it, he's a misogynist.
What he is most afraid of is a woman who is in control of her body, sexuality and her reproductive system. Limbaugh is an angry, hateful man. If you listen closely, his tirade borders on the rabid, he doesn't like women and dislikes women who advocate for birth control even less, in his words they are "sluts" and "prostitutes". That is all his narrow mind can parse.
So tell us what really makes you angry Rush? Tell us about the twelve sponsors that have pulled ads from your ridiculous talk show. Something tells me that what you're really sorry about. There isn't a kind bone in your mean fat body. You're sorry alright but not for what you said about Ms. Fluke; you're losing advertisers by the droves and if there's one thing you do understand is the money. No advertisers, no money = no show. Let's hope!
